As part of the admission process and to protect your identity, all students are required to provide a government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license, passport, or other official identification). Two methods of doing so are described below.

You also consent to Strategic Education, Inc. and its affiliated companies (hereinafter SEI) receiving my personal information, which may include biometric data, from Jumio and processing that information for purposes of verifying your identity, as set out in SEI’s Privacy Policy. You acknowledge that you have read and understood Jumio’s and SEI’s biometric data policies outlined above and consent to the collection and processing of your biometric data by Jumio and SEI.

If you do not wish to have your biometric data collected or processed, as an alternative you may verify your identity through a live video conference with an Enrollment Specialist who will walk you through the verification process. To verify your identity using this alternative process, please contact your Enrollment Specialist.

In accordance with Title 18,U.S. Code Part 1, Chapter 33, Section 701, Capella University is unable to obtain copies of any military identification. Please use another form of identification to fulfill the government-issued photo identification requirement.
